Pool + Beachfront Studio!

Birthday Trip Ruined by Sewage Backup and Lack of Customer Support Positive: Location Negative: I recently stayed in Unit 33 in this pool beachfront in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea for what was supposed to be a relaxing birthday getaway. While the room itself was very nice, updated, and well-decorated, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare due to a major plumbing issue and extremely disappointing customer service from Five Star Resorts. The toilet overflowed repeatedly, and sewage backed up into the shower, making the bathroom completely unusable. We were left without any functioning bathroom facilities and were given no meaningful assistance or immediate solution. There was no help offered to relocate us, no hotel accommodations arranged, and no urgency shown regarding the seriousness of the situation. At nearly 11:00 PM, we were forced to pack up and find another place to stay on our own — on my birthday weekend no less. Having to move late at night and pay for additional lodging completely ruined what was supposed to be a special trip. Communication with Sam from customer relations was frustrating and filled with vague, canned responses rather than actual solutions. Multiple promises were made regarding a refund, including offers to send payment through Zelle twice, yet to date nothing has been received. It is unfortunate because the unit itself had potential, but customer service and accountability matter just as much as the property. I would strongly caution others against renting Unit 33 unless you are prepared to deal with the same issues and lack of support that we experienced.

Decent room but will never return due to unsafe management. Positive: Property was clean, location was great. Negative: Unsafe handling of the facility. Allowed maintenance to enter my room without notifying me prior. When I voiced my concern, my message was ignored. Very loud upstairs guests when we had to call local authorities when noise levels wouldn't allow us to sleep.

Perfect beach getaway clean new and so close to restaurants and shops 5 stars

We will be back again solely because of how close we were to the beach and how clean it was! Positive: AMAZING location! Literally steps to the beach and everything downtown. Place was exceptionally clean, including the room and the pool areas. Negative: The walls are extremely thin, you can hear pretty much everything around you. We also didn’t like that there was no ice machine or small freezer in the room. Communal Laundry Room was filthy, could not use it.

Perfect location, quiet but not uncomfortable.Right on the beach and the communication via app was beyond expectations T Positive: Stovetop and small fridge so you can prepare food. There is also an outside grill on the other side by the pool. Super convenient and saves money. Publix is close or you can walk to restaurants downtown Lauderdale by the sea. Great area
